Report to Stanford
Stanford students now have two options for reporting incidents of sexual or relationship violence to Stanford.
Report through Title IX Office
titleix@stanford.edu or (650) 497-4955. If you call the office, a team member will talk to you about your options, answer your questions, and go over the process of filing a Title IX report. If you are comfortable moving forward, a team member will take down relevant information about the concern. A team member is available to help you during business hours, although a Confidential Support Team member is always available 24/7 (650) 725-9955.
If you prefer to send an email to TItle IX, titleix@stanford.edu. it would be helpful if you could provide as much of the following information as you can recall, but do not worry if you do not have all of this information.
- Your name
- Name of accused
- Approximate date and time that assault occurred
- Where assault occurred
- What happened (or what you think happened if you were asleep or incapacitated)
- Whether you are asking for immediate help from the Title IX Office such as:
- A no contact order
- Housing accommodations
- Academic accommodations
Report through Callisto
Callisto is a third-party online platform that allows you to document your experience with unwanted sexual conduct or relationship violence, time-stamp it in a secure web environment, and choose whether and when to submit it to the university as a formal report. Callisto is transitioning away from its current platform in the summer of 2020 to a new platform. As of April 2020, Callisto is indicating that it will continue to hold records created on its first platform.
