If you call the office, a team member will talk to you about your options, answer your questions, and go over the process of filing a Title IX report.   If you are comfortable moving forward, a team member will take down relevant information about the concern.   A team member is available to help you during business hours, although a Confidential Support Team member is always available 24/7 (650) 725-9955.    

If you prefer to send an email, it would be helpful if you could provide as much of the following information as you can recall, but do not worry if you do not have all of this information.

  • Your name
  • Name of accused
  • Approximate date and time that assault occurred
  • Where assault occurred
  • What happened (or what you think happened if you were asleep or incapacitated)
  • Whether you are asking for immediate help from the Title IX Office such as:
    • A no contact order
    • Housing accommodations
    • Academic accommodations
